Front porch deck rebuild done the right way
Our recent work
Here's what we were working with — a front porch that had seen better days. The old deck boards were worn, the framing underneath had weakened, and the whole surface was becoming a liability rather than a welcoming entry. Front porches take a beating from weather and foot traffic, and most people don't think about what's going on underneath until it becomes a real problem.
We pulled everything apart and started fresh: new deck boards, updated framing, and added support where it was needed. When you're rebuilding a porch like this, doing it halfway doesn't make sense — the structure underneath is what determines how long the surface lasts, so we made sure that part was solid before anything else went down.
What you end up with is a porch that doesn't just look better — it performs better. The fresh pressure-treated lumber sits tight and level, the framing is reinforced, and the whole entry feels stable in a way the old one simply didn't. A solid entry adds real value to a home and, more importantly, it's safe for everyone who walks through the door every single day.
